Every year the Aberdeen Aqua Addicts hold the Duck Derby Fundraiser on the 4th of July. Contestants have the opportunity to adopt ducks for the chance to win prizes. Following the performance of the ski show on the 4th of July hundreds of yellow rubber ducks are released into Wylie Lake and members of the Aqua Addicts are tasked with catching the winning ducks.
